April works for WiseOwl, a firm specializing in communications for social change. She is also currently taking her Masters in Health Policy (Health Social Sciences), with a main research interest of domestic violence and complex trauma, at the University of the Philippines Manila. At the same university, she finished her undergrad degree of Organizational Communication. Among other things, she was part of the university student council and was the founding president of the photography organization, Shoot UPM.
